#26 Midnight Stroll at Margarita Beach

Hello Lovelies 😊  So this was a rather lovely find tonight.  Feeling I needed a tropical location to match the vibe of my shirt, Margarita Beach caught my eye and did not disappoint.  So much love has gone into the creation of this place.  I am writing this while sat in the outdoors bar, watching the mist over the trees and listening to the tropical sounds all around me.  You instantly feel relaxed here.  I love that each level brings you something new to explore and encourages you to pause and relax.  There are lots of little romantic areas tucked away that are perfect for couples.  Tropical Gardens, spectacular beach, harbor and so much more, I urge you to come visit!  Do not miss the caves!  Loved them.

What I Am Wearing:

#24 Midnight in Paris

Hello Lovelies 😊.  My goodness it's been like an eternity since I had a chance to relax and blog and I have missed it.  Christmas was the usual chaos of creating for Events and January was very cold here in the UK, so I have been hibernating.

So my first proper venture out to explore in 2025 was a magical place called 'Midnight in Paris' (seriously needs to be the name of a film!).  Arriving at the Metro you walk out into a city like no other.  Rain falling hard with the lights of the city bouncing in the puddles beneath your feet.  A thunderstorm grumbling in the distance.  You soak up the atmosphere as you take the bridge over the River Seine.  The Eiffel Tower comes into view.  One thing I was so happy to see here was the Eiffel Tower twinkling with lights, just as it does in the real world at the top of every hour (although you can capture this 24/7 in the SL world).  I have never found another place in SL that added this very special detail.  It brings back very special memories for me.  So I gazed for a while remembering before seeing what else there is to explore here.  Take time to wander the bistros and bars, the book stalls by the river.  It is a little peace of heaven.

#23 Peek-a-Boo at Leloo!

 

Hello Lovelies.  It has definitely been a minute since I was last here.  The creative world has kept me super busy in the past month.  Halloween is always the busiest time of the year in Second Life I feel, with Christmas chasing not far behind!

I let the trusty Destination Guide find me somewhere fun to visit before bed last night and I was not disappointed with 'Leloo's World Boo Fest'.  This would be a wonderful place to come with friends as there is so much to see and explore plus many a fun photo op moment!  As a Brit, I don't think we embrace Halloween anywhere near as much as they do in the States so it is fun to enjoy the season at least in Second Life.  The creativity you see in this world never fails to blow my mind and there has clearly been a lot of time and care put in at Leloo's for visitors to enjoy.  I am back there now as I write this experiencing it again but in Dinkie style in a Pumpkin Boat being followed by Crocodiles!  I highly recommend you go visit!

What I Am Wearing:

Don't you love when you randomly unpack things you likely had sitting in your inventory for months, even years (that deffo is me!) and it's an 'Ooooh!' moment because it's pretty.  For me that was these super delicate, cute Tweety Bird Earrings by Dark Mouse Jewelry.  They are HUD Driven with 8 Colors for the Birds and 4 Metals and a real bargain at just 99L!  Hop to the Inworld Store and the link above will land you right in front of them.  I sadly could not find a Marketplace link to share for them but there is some really pretty designs to discover at the Inworld Store.

Friday has become one of my go to stores in Second Life for some real quality casualwear.  I could not resist their Tara Cardigan which is on offer this week as part of the Saturday Sale.  The Cardigan comes with optional Tee.  There are 8 Autumnal Colors for the Cardigan and 6 Color/4 Pattern Options for the Tee.  Absolutely perfect for fall so I bought the Fat Pack for a bargain 450L but there are 8 single options available this week at just 75L each!  I have paired it with the Friday Weekend Jeans in Coal that comes with optional belt and also version that should tuck into boots.  An absolute staple in my wardrobe!

#22 SunRayz Coast

 

Hello Lovelies.  I had planned to go back and hang at Sea Breeze Garden today and experience it Dinkie style but it has gone!!  That is the sad reality of Second Life sometimes.  I could not see a relocation anywhere which is a real shame.  So with that I turned to the Destination Guide to see what's new and took myself to the Caribbean!  SunRayz Coast has so much to see!  For any Brits out there, as I landed it gave me real 'Death In Paradise' (UK TV show) vibes.  So vibrant here!  There is so much to see and experience from their art gallery and cafe, beach bar and a beautiful spot for beach weddings.  I felt very tranquil as I wandered around the island, exploring all the hidden away cozy spots ideal for couples.  As I write this I am sat on a swing at their beach bar with the waves crashing through my speakers.  Bliss!

What I Am Wearing:

I am LOVING this beautiful orange 'Take Me To the Beach" tee which also includes a scoop neck version if you prefer a more open style tee.  This was made by GPA Dinkies EXCLUSIVE to the CMH 'Life's a Beach 4' Hunt until the end of July.  I have matched the tee with my ever favorite Peeps Dinkie Deck Shoes.  With 50 colors on the HUD, you have so much choice to pair them with any outfit.  I also treated myself to some new Dinkie Dean Shorts today from Dinkie Boutique in Black Denim.  Always good to add a few staples to your closet I think and these are amazing quality mesh!  If you get a chance, do hop over and browse the stores at Petite Village.  I can definitely see a dedicated blog coming in the future as there is so much to experience here.  Enjoy! 😺

#19 Badu, Maldives

 

Hello Lovelies.  Tonight I decided to try out one of the latest resort destinations in SL, Badu, Maldives.  When I think of the real Maldives I think luxury, high end location with stunning beaches and the bluest of skies.  Not somewhere I could ever afford to visit in the real world sadly.  You arrive by their beautiful pool surrounded by loungers, bars and the sea peeking through the palms and exotic plants.  The resort does feel luxurious.  Somewhere that would be perfect for a couple on honeymoon or romantic trip as there are several beautifully decorated bungalows catering for all you could need.  You can follow the pathway around the island and discover the beach club, cute little hang out spots and so much more.  I ended my trip with a fun dash around the island on a Segway, making sure not to crash into people of course!  I would definitely recommend checking it out!

What I Am Wearing:

#17 Spring Walk at New Deer Isle

 

So what do you do when you are up late and wanna unwind... go for a spring walk in Second Life!  I had a little time to unwind tonight so took myself over to New Deer Isle which is a Region based on Maine in the US.  As I wandered past a Motel (with decorated rooms to rent), Coffee Shop and so much more, it gives a very warm, inviting feel.  There are sailable waters here if that is something you enjoy that lead out to the Mainland and so much more to enjoy.

#14 Spring is Here...Finally!

 

It's been a while since I really had a chance to post here.  Last year was one of the darkest in my real life, followed by a never ending wet winter here in the UK.  I am so glad to see the Spring slowly brightening up the world and hope for a sunnier year this year!

#13 In The Midnight Hour

 

I'm definitely in a dark vibes mood at the moment now we are slipping into Autumn.  It's my favorite season of the year.  I love seeing the trees turn golden shades of red, yellow and orange but also the nights drawing in also give me that cosy, snuggly vibe.

#11 Hashima Island

 

I love seeing what's new in the Destination Guide and today I chose something rather incredible, Hashima Island.  This place is stunning in it's detail.  I don't think I have ever experienced anything like this in my decade plus time in Second Life.

You arrive at the Ferry Port to an old coal mining community.  It is like walking out to a place where disaster has struck and nature has slowly taken over.  Little fires still burning, deserted homes, everything left like people ran in a hurry.  Extremely thought provoking.  I urge you to go visit!

What I am Wearing:

#10 The Heart of Rosieri

If you want to discover a real hidden gem, The Heart of Rosieri is the place for you.  I wanted to find a beautiful springtime location and this was just perfect.  At least spring in Second Life cannot bring on my allergies like it does in the real world lol!  The garden is so peaceful to wander with lots of wildlife and the sounds of birdsong.  Don't miss the art and book store as well as their cute cat cafe Toe Beans.

#9 Love... or Hate?

Love or Hate?  I'll take love anytime!  With Valentine's nearly upon us it can stir many emotions.  So do you celebrate Valentine's?  Even more so, how do you celebrate it in Second Life or is it a day that just passes you on by?

#7 Autumn is Coming

Autumn is coming, yes!  Summer has been way too hot for me in England this year so I am counting down the days for my favorite season to begin.  The beauty of Second Life is we can have any season any time but I do especially love to wander in the autumn time and see all the beautiful colors and vibes of the season.  Urban City is a great place to wander if you love a realistic city vibe. Every time I am there I always spot something new.  There is a lot of love gone into this place which has a residential area that leads into the city district full of beautiful stores catching your eye as you pass and their new monthly event 'Them', a unisex monthly Event is well worth a visit.

What I am wearing:

Today I am wearing my latest release, Zadie which is a wrap top and leggings that come in 10 patterns/colors perfect for chilling in on those Autumnal days or just every day wear, for me at least.  This set is EXCLUSIVE to the Vanity Event open on the 18th August.

#6 Summer's Day at Luane's World

 

If you want to find a peaceful, visually stunning beach for some much needed 'me' time, you will not be disappointed with Le Monde Perdu at Luane's World.  It gave me that 'just arrived on vacation' feel with the choice of do you go and unpack or just head straight to the beach vibe.  I was straight to the nearest vacant deckchair, eyes closed and relax to the sound of the waves.

#5 Longing For Summer Days

 

Wow, it's been a long while since I had chance to actually explore or blog.  Most my time in Second Life is following my passion for creating, running events and hunts so I relish the moments I get some time just for me.

Over in the real world, it feels like it has been winter forever in the south of England.  Here we are in March and it's still freezing!  I am longing for warm sunny summer days with a nice breeze.  So with that in mind, I took myself to one of my favourite spots in Second Life, Soul2Soul Coast.  Soul2Soul have some amazing regions, all with different themes and are my go to if I want to just relax and wander while i listen to the gulls and the waves lapping onto the shore. 

What I am wearing:

#2 An Afternoon In Archipelago

It has been the longest time since I logged into Second Life purely just to explore.  My life as a creator in this world is a busy one.  So it made a relaxing change to search out a destination that caught my eye in the Destination Guide.

So I arrived at Archipelago for an afternoon of exploring and oh what a beauty this place is.  Tranquil, breath-taking.  Also a haven for Elephants!  Wandering along the beach, you are drawn to follow pathways to the next Cove or up the cliff path to sit and enjoy the beauty from the highest point.  I did see beach rentals but it looked like they had long all been rented and I can't say as I blame them!  I would highly recommend a visit.

#1 New Beginnings on the Longest Day

Hello and Welcome to my Blog!  I am not new to blogging but this is a fresh start on a different platform.  I was previously on Wordpress but stopped when I decided to no longer work as an active blogger for select stores, but to blog as and when the mood takes me to share fashion, destinations and events within Second Life.  I may chat about topics of the day or just random banter.  We will see where this goes.  I would love for you to join me on this journey...

Today I visited one of my favourite places in Second Life, Soul2Soul Coast.  Soul2Soul have some truly beautiful regions, all very different in style and in the past I have even rented homes on a couple of their regions.  If you like somewhere to be peaceful and clear your thoughts, I would urge you to visit.  It is a beautiful haven indeed.
