#43 Winter's Edge

If you have time this weekend, I encourage you to go visit LeLoo's World Winter's Edge.  Pop your 'shared environment' on and be wowed at the beauty before you!  This place is magical!  Breathtaking!!  As you arrive, a flurry of snow drifts over you, the beautiful sky slowly highlighting the scene before you.  This is somewhere you will want to slow your pace... take your time and drink in the surroundings.  The Observatory is a definite highlight.  You feel the warmth as you walk in the door.  Instant cozy vibes.  Makes me think of Polar Nights in Svalbard.  This is somewhere I could truly just lay and watch the sky drifting by whilst listening to the whistling wind.  A true peaceful haven.

What I Am Wearing:

Gramma's are here to bring you the 'Winter Forecast' this month!  I am loving the layered sleeve top with its fun slogan 'Winter Napstorm Warning: All Paws To Cozy Positions'.  The Red version of this outfit has an equally fun slogan 'Winter Forecast: 100% Pawsitive Nap Vibes Ahead'.  Paired with knitted pants, these are an absolute bargain at 1L each this month in the CMH Baby It's Cold Outside 5' Hunt.  I have added this cute Snowflake Winter Hat from Starlight Dinkies which can be worn with or without the bow and is scripted to tuck your ears away and keep them cozy!  You can only find this hat Exclusive to the Hunt for just 25L!  To complete the outfit, I found these lovely All Little Folks Ode Boots.  I am wearing version 2 that comes with 5 Boot and 7 Legwarmer options.  They cannot be worn apart but I think it completed the look perfectly.

After all that exploring, it was time for a nap!  This beautiful Blanket and Cushions set from Petite Panache is so beautifully textured for winter, and I just had to add my Snowman Cushion from Starlight Apparel to snuggle with.  Both are available in the 'Baby It's Cold Outside 5' Hunt this month.  Not to be missed!  But now... it's time for some zzzzz's.

   

#41 Love To Decorate Holly and Frost Faire

Today I managed to encourage Hubby to join me (reluctantly) for a little Christmas shopping trip to Love To Decorate Holly and Frost Faire.  This region also hosts the Enchantment Events across the year which are always stunningly decorated so I knew I was in for a treat.  The Faire is open until 5th January so may be somewhere to pop and shop during the holidays.  You can expect to find top end designers here like Nutmeg, Oh Deer, Dahlia and more with some very affordable festive decor, 50L specials and free gifts too!  Definitely worth checking out.

What I Am Wearing:

#39 Winter at Luanes World

It's been a minute!  Christmas has been super busy on the creating front which has kept me away longer than intended.  But tonight I thought I would start my festive season right in Second Life at one of its true must sees, Luanes World - Le Monde Perdu - Winter.  You arrive at a little cafe area surrounded by Christmas Huts serving cakes, hot chocolate and so much more to tempt your taste buds.  A perfect spot for a romantic date or perhaps a bit of people watching as you see people arrive into the region.  There are pathways to lead you around the region either on foot, or hop on a horse for a ride.  I opted for the horse and followed a beautiful path along the waters edge, looking at the beautiful home rentals (all full at the moment).  Taking the occasional pause to soak in the view and the icy waters, with the sound of birds.  It really is such a relaxing haven.

Today I want to share with you some wonderful items that can be found in the CMH Dinkie Winter Hunt and Sale which is on until the end of December.

#38 Necropolis Umbrae

Well this is a rare treat!  Back to back Blogging!  I wanted to have a peek at the trusty Destination Guide for Haunted Halloween and there is a small selection of places at the moment but hopefully will grow as we move towards October.  The one that caught my eye was Necropolis Umbrae.  

As soon as you arrive you hear a haunting twinkle and groan (best way I can describe it) which sets the scene for eerie, space vibes.  In the centre is an ancient occult library 'at the veil between life and death' which is wonderfully decorated to theme.  But if you head outside and head to the left, take the stairs up and you are greeted with a stunning fallen temple.  The sound of the Enchanted Ponds water adds to the ambience.  With lush vegetation and twinkling lights everywhere, this is such a soothing place to relax and ponder.  I ended my trip hopping on a passing space rock that let me drift happily in space.  What a treat indeed.

#37 Evening Ride at Sunkiss

Hello Lovelies 🍂

Today I am continuing on my journey around Second Life's Autumn regions with a wonderful trip to Sunkiss.  This region embraces that magical time of summer ending where the air is cooler but still warm enough to feel some warmth on your skin from the sun.  Beaches are quieter and there is a joy in that peace as you take a blissful stroll, listening to the waves crash on the shore.  

I do envy how well people can decorate in Second Life as I have never quite mastered putting together a home just how I like it and usually buy another home and start again lol.  But I did rather love the shabby chic decor in the old Shanty Boat on the shore and said hello to the kitties before I continued my wander.

As you walk more inland, Autumn really embraces you in the golden colors of the grass and trees that are slowly shedding their leaves.  It truly is a magical time of year!  I do urge you to go visit!  

There is a beautiful quote on the wall of a home there that you can visit and enjoy simply saying 'Don't ever lose your sense of wonder' and honestly, that would be the perfect tag line to describe Second Life, our wonderful creative haven.

What I Am Wearing:

I am absolutely loving this Leny Outfit in green (also available in brown) from All Little Folks who you can also visit Inworld.  The cozy fox and leaf design on the sweater, paired with cord trousers and comfy shoes just completely embodies Autumn for me.  There was a cap also included but I love my little crown best.  The Inworld Store has some wonderful themed outfits and with Halloween coming, I highly suggest a visit.  Head towards the vendors on the far left for your choice of Halloween attire.  There are also prizes to be won on the Happy Mushroom chairs and I won three while I was there which was a lovely bonus to my trip.

I have saved the absolute best to last... As soon as I saw this Fall Sidecar Ride, I could not WAIT to try it out!  You have the option to be the driver, or enjoy the ride in the sidecar as you wave to the passers by.  Obsessed!  You can adjust it so you are seated to the level you need.  There is also the 'beep' to make people jump as you bump into things lol.  Beautifully made by Flying Arts and EXCLUSIVE to the CMH Autumn Dinkie Hunt & Sale for an incredible 25L until the end of September.  Enjoy😊.

#31 Hazy Summer Days at Silent Melody

 

Hi Lovelies 😊

With a rare heatwave currently here in the UK, it is far too hot to sleep!  So I felt in the mood for an adventure in Second Life.  I turned to the trusty Destination Guide to inspire my journey and that lead me to 'Silent Melody'.  I would suggest coming here when you can set aside a decent amount of time to fully enjoy it, either alone with with others.  It is one of the most detailed and well thought out regions I think I have ever seen.  There are so many hidden joys to discover, literally all over the Island plus a couple of secluded House Boats that feature some cozy, inviting decor that can be hired by the day if you have a special someone you wish to treat.  My personal favorite spots were the roof top gardens, the woodland walk and of course this fabulous Windmill!  I do rather love to visit Windmills in RL too so this was a real treat to find tonight.

What I Am Wearing:

'Gramma's Shoppe' have done it again and made this fabulous 'Smol But Mytee' Outfit as part of the 'CMH Summer Dinkie Hunt and Sale' which you can grab for just 1L at the Inworld Store until the end of June.  This outfit screams fun!  The clarity of the image on the tee is super sharp and a good conversation starter when you are wandering the SL world.  The tee and pants can be worn separately but really do work perfectly as an outfit.  Do not miss it! 

#30 Sunshine On My Mind at Kona Beach

 

Hi Lovelies 😊  Following on from a beautiful evening at Bachata Magica, a restful beach day was needed and with 'Sunshine on my Mind' I headed to a true staple in Second Life, Kona Beach.  In a virtual world that is always evolving, I love that places like Kona still exist and are still thriving!  There is a bit of something for everyone here.  For me personally, I love to sit and listen to the waves and watch people surfing.  There is horse riding, jet skis, fishing and plenty of ways to interact and make new friends.  Equally there are some beautiful more secluded spots for a romantic date or just to unwind together (or alone as you wish!).  Don't miss a turtle ride through the underwater world!

What I Am Wearing:

#29 Summer Nights at Bachata Magica

Hi Lovelies 😊  With Summer so close now, I definitely wanted a Resort vibe tonight, and found that at Bachata Magica.  As I landed on the pier, there was a little jump scare moment from the gigantic shark head that filled my screen!  But as you wander into the very colorful, vibrant square it just feels warm and inviting.  There is a really beautiful beach club in the heart of it all and joining the group, I can see there are several DJ sets each week.  This is definitely a place to come, grab a drink and sway the night away!

What I Am Wearing:

#28 Star Lake Resort & Sector 51

 

Hi Lovelies 😊  So it definitely has been a while (again!).  Today is the first day I have wanted to be back on my Dinkie since the RL version I named after him, my beautiful boy Tootsie passed away in April at nearly 20 years old.  It feels a bit surreal to be Inworld and not have him sat next to me in the real world watching over what I am doing.  I miss him very much.

Today I am over at Star Lake Resort & Sector 51 which is very futuristic, set in the year 2077.  As cliche as it sounds, to me at least, very 'Bladerunner' vibes... and I LOVE that!  This is one of those places where you are at awe with how much detail it has taken to bring this space to life.  There is also a games room here, bowling and even a MechDonalds!  I took a slow wander, just taking it all in before hoping in a flying taxi to let it zoom me around the city.  I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and hope you will too.

What I Am Wearing:

#27 Durty Feckers!

 

Hi Lovelies 😊  So with St Patrick's Day fast approaching on the 17th March, I wondered what Irish Destinations there are to enjoy in Second Life and there wasn't a huge choice.  But... I found this gem, Ireland.  You arrive outside the 'Durty Feckers' Pub (which also made me think of the classic TV show 'Father Ted').  As I walked in the bar I am almost expecting to see Father Jack shouting 'drink, drink, drink!' and Father Ted outside saying 'Down with this sort of thing'.  The bar looks warm and inviting, very traditional and well set out with an area for people to sing and play a fiddle, or a game of snooker.  In the back is a stage and I wonder if they have anyone come perform here.  I can imagine a packed bar and a warm crowd surrounding the stage.  Do take time to wander as there are many little treasures to discover here and the owners should be very proud to bring their little slice of Ireland to Second Life.  The little woodland area leading onto the beach where I learned about the tale of the Selkies was especially a highlight.

#26 Midnight Stroll at Margarita Beach

Hello Lovelies 😊  So this was a rather lovely find tonight.  Feeling I needed a tropical location to match the vibe of my shirt, Margarita Beach caught my eye and did not disappoint.  So much love has gone into the creation of this place.  I am writing this while sat in the outdoors bar, watching the mist over the trees and listening to the tropical sounds all around me.  You instantly feel relaxed here.  I love that each level brings you something new to explore and encourages you to pause and relax.  There are lots of little romantic areas tucked away that are perfect for couples.  Tropical Gardens, spectacular beach, harbor and so much more, I urge you to come visit!  Do not miss the caves!  Loved them.

#25 Happy Go Lucky at Luanes World

Hello Lovelies 🙂  Spring has arrived at Luanes World - Le Monde Perdu and this is the closest I am feeling to it as in the RL world, we are still freezing here in the UK!  

Walking among the dunes, with the wild grasses and purple heathers revealing lots of little gems to explore, it's a place to pause, take your time and really enjoy the sites and sounds.  After a long walk, I slipped into my ever so cute lucky PJs and got ready for a snooze.  All that fresh spring air clearly tired me out on the walk 🐱.

What I Am Wearing:

#24 Midnight in Paris

Hello Lovelies 😊.  My goodness it's been like an eternity since I had a chance to relax and blog and I have missed it.  Christmas was the usual chaos of creating for Events and January was very cold here in the UK, so I have been hibernating.

So my first proper venture out to explore in 2025 was a magical place called 'Midnight in Paris' (seriously needs to be the name of a film!).  Arriving at the Metro you walk out into a city like no other.  Rain falling hard with the lights of the city bouncing in the puddles beneath your feet.  A thunderstorm grumbling in the distance.  You soak up the atmosphere as you take the bridge over the River Seine.  The Eiffel Tower comes into view.  One thing I was so happy to see here was the Eiffel Tower twinkling with lights, just as it does in the real world at the top of every hour (although you can capture this 24/7 in the SL world).  I have never found another place in SL that added this very special detail.  It brings back very special memories for me.  So I gazed for a while remembering before seeing what else there is to explore here.  Take time to wander the bistros and bars, the book stalls by the river.  It is a little peace of heaven.

#23 Peek-a-Boo at Leloo!

 

Hello Lovelies.  It has definitely been a minute since I was last here.  The creative world has kept me super busy in the past month.  Halloween is always the busiest time of the year in Second Life I feel, with Christmas chasing not far behind!

I let the trusty Destination Guide find me somewhere fun to visit before bed last night and I was not disappointed with 'Leloo's World Boo Fest'.  This would be a wonderful place to come with friends as there is so much to see and explore plus many a fun photo op moment!  As a Brit, I don't think we embrace Halloween anywhere near as much as they do in the States so it is fun to enjoy the season at least in Second Life.  The creativity you see in this world never fails to blow my mind and there has clearly been a lot of time and care put in at Leloo's for visitors to enjoy.  I am back there now as I write this experiencing it again but in Dinkie style in a Pumpkin Boat being followed by Crocodiles!  I highly recommend you go visit!

What I Am Wearing:

Don't you love when you randomly unpack things you likely had sitting in your inventory for months, even years (that deffo is me!) and it's an 'Ooooh!' moment because it's pretty.  For me that was these super delicate, cute Tweety Bird Earrings by Dark Mouse Jewelry.  They are HUD Driven with 8 Colors for the Birds and 4 Metals and a real bargain at just 99L!  Hop to the Inworld Store and the link above will land you right in front of them.  I sadly could not find a Marketplace link to share for them but there is some really pretty designs to discover at the Inworld Store.

Friday has become one of my go to stores in Second Life for some real quality casualwear.  I could not resist their Tara Cardigan which is on offer this week as part of the Saturday Sale.  The Cardigan comes with optional Tee.  There are 8 Autumnal Colors for the Cardigan and 6 Color/4 Pattern Options for the Tee.  Absolutely perfect for fall so I bought the Fat Pack for a bargain 450L but there are 8 single options available this week at just 75L each!  I have paired it with the Friday Weekend Jeans in Coal that comes with optional belt and also version that should tuck into boots.  An absolute staple in my wardrobe!

#22 SunRayz Coast

 

Hello Lovelies.  I had planned to go back and hang at Sea Breeze Garden today and experience it Dinkie style but it has gone!!  That is the sad reality of Second Life sometimes.  I could not see a relocation anywhere which is a real shame.  So with that I turned to the Destination Guide to see what's new and took myself to the Caribbean!  SunRayz Coast has so much to see!  For any Brits out there, as I landed it gave me real 'Death In Paradise' (UK TV show) vibes.  So vibrant here!  There is so much to see and experience from their art gallery and cafe, beach bar and a beautiful spot for beach weddings.  I felt very tranquil as I wandered around the island, exploring all the hidden away cozy spots ideal for couples.  As I write this I am sat on a swing at their beach bar with the waves crashing through my speakers.  Bliss!

#20 Sea Breeze Garden

 

Hello Lovelies.  Today I visited one of the most magical places I have seen in some time which is Sea Breeze Garden.  This is absolutely my idea of a slice of heaven!  I love the peace and tranquility here as you wander through the field of pretty blue flowers towards the sea.  This region has been well thought out with many spots for couples to spend time together and equally some little hidden areas ideal if you just want to have some quiet alone time.  I have always loved listening to the sound of waves crashing on a beach in Second Life and can see myself coming here often when I need to decompress from the world.  I urge you to come visit!

What I Am Wearing:

Today I am continuing on with highlighting designers currently in the 'Life's a Beach 4' Hunt.  Blink2Wink has made this gorgeous teal 'Beach Body' Swimsuit which is fitting my LaraX body perfectly!  With just a hint of transparency it really is so pretty and giving me mermaid vibes.  It is an absolute steal at just 1L!  Do not miss it!  I am also once again wearing the fabulous Beach Shell Nails from backSTORY, today in teal color as they match the swimsuit perfectly!  The nails are hudded in 5 perfect summer shades also for 1L.  Runnnn and grab these amazing deals ♥

Hello Lovelies.  Tonight I decided to try out one of the latest resort destinations in SL, Badu, Maldives.  When I think of the real Maldives I think luxury, high end location with stunning beaches and the bluest of skies.  Not somewhere I could ever afford to visit in the real world sadly.  You arrive by their beautiful pool surrounded by loungers, bars and the sea peeking through the palms and exotic plants.  The resort does feel luxurious.  Somewhere that would be perfect for a couple on honeymoon or romantic trip as there are several beautifully decorated bungalows catering for all you could need.  You can follow the pathway around the island and discover the beach club, cute little hang out spots and so much more.  I ended my trip with a fun dash around the island on a Segway, making sure not to crash into people of course!  I would definitely recommend checking it out!

What I Am Wearing:

#18 Sunset Sands Retreat

Happy Sunday!  If you are looking for somewhere to unwind and relax be it alone or with a partner or friend, I have just the place!  I actually discovered Sunset Sands Retreat by pure chance when I was browsing Facebook.  I logged straight in to take a look before a million other things distracted me (as is the norm for SL lol).  

Just to sit and listen to the waves crashing onto the shore is something I absolutely adore.  It's a really pretty boho retreat and MyStory compatible.  Lots of lovely seating and dining areas throughout the resort and there is also a House Retreat that can be hired in 2 hour blocks which may be something fun for date night.  I found a teleporter to an event area and its so cute!  This would be a fab space for singers during the summer.  I am wishing there had been a subscriber in the event area to see what was coming up there.  There is a Group you can join though which mentions special accommodations for guests to enhance their stay so check it out.

#16 BlossomVale in Venice

 

Today I was in the mood for a new adventure and went to the trusty Destinations Guide to see what was new in the world of Second Life.  BlossomVale of Venice immediately jumped off the page to me as the place to go!  I loveeee Italy and could not resist exploring Venice in SL.

BloomsVale has been beautifully thought out in its planning and whimsical feel as you wander through the streets and along the canals filled with gondola's.  There is so much detail here that I feel multiple visits you could always find something new to see.  There is a stunning wedding venue for elopements and a fabulous stage for live performances.  I joined the group inworld in hopes of catching a performance here in the future.  I finished my trip this time with a relaxing balloon ride over the city.

#15 Elvion

 

Today I am debuting my Dinkie, Tootsie to my Blog.  Last year I decided I wanted to make a Dinkie that looked similar my RL cat Tootsie and being a Dinkie bought a whole new joy to my Second Life.  

Today's venture took me to the beautiful town of Elvion - Blackbird Edition which is a lush, green land filled with beautiful scenery and landscapes to explore.  There are forest trails, a cozy Harbor and so much more to see.  Perfect for a peaceful nature walk or somewhere to venture as a couple.  My personal highlight was sat listening to the waves crashing near the Windmill which felt very soothing.
