#34 Sugarberry Summer

Today I am here to share with you a bit of a 'Look Of The Day' with a couple items to really put the zing in your Summer wardrobes.

Firstly I just have to show you these fabulous pink palm tree nails which are just made for summer days at the beach!  They are rigged for Ebody, Kupra, Legacy, Peach and Maitreya (which I am wearing here on Lara X).  Runnnn to Sugarberry and grab these beauties for a stunning 25L!  They are one of the EXCLUSIVE prizes as part of the CMH 'Kawaii' Hunt until the end of July.

#33 Aloha, Kanaloa!

 

Hi Lovelies 😊

Having not been here for a while, today I decided to hop over to a true classic in Second Life, Kanaloa Surf Beach which has been around since 2016.  If you want to try your hand at surfing or kite surfing, this is THE place to be!  They have kindly put out a range of boards with full instructions how to go hit up those gigantic waves rolling in to the shore.  Being a dinkie, the kids board were the perfect option for me to paddle out to the massive waves on or take a pause to just sit and watch the world go by.  There are also many places along the beach to make friends (there is always someone here) or to bring a date.  I finished my trip with a walk along the beach before it was time to head back to RL.

What I Am Wearing:

#32 Sunset Beach Walk at Silent Melody

Hi Lovelies 😸

While dinner was cooking in the real world, I had just enough time to slip back to Silent Melody to explore more of the beach area.  As I strolled along the beach I could not resist grabbing a boat to tour the island first before finding a nice area to chill at the 'Flower Power' snack bar.  Listening to the waves crash on the shore while munching on a donut is a perfect way to pass the time as I watched the sun sink lower in the sky.  Healthier options are available too.  There is an absolutely stunning dance area at the corner by the lighthouse.  I joined the group (which is free to join) and hope they have some singers here in future to enjoy in this beautiful setting.  I ended my trip in my favorite spot, the Rooftop Vegetable Garden.

What I Am Wearing:

#31 Hazy Summer Days at Silent Melody

 

Hi Lovelies 😊

With a rare heatwave currently here in the UK, it is far too hot to sleep!  So I felt in the mood for an adventure in Second Life.  I turned to the trusty Destination Guide to inspire my journey and that lead me to 'Silent Melody'.  I would suggest coming here when you can set aside a decent amount of time to fully enjoy it, either alone with with others.  It is one of the most detailed and well thought out regions I think I have ever seen.  There are so many hidden joys to discover, literally all over the Island plus a couple of secluded House Boats that feature some cozy, inviting decor that can be hired by the day if you have a special someone you wish to treat.  My personal favorite spots were the roof top gardens, the woodland walk and of course this fabulous Windmill!  I do rather love to visit Windmills in RL too so this was a real treat to find tonight.

What I Am Wearing:

'Gramma's Shoppe' have done it again and made this fabulous 'Smol But Mytee' Outfit as part of the 'CMH Summer Dinkie Hunt and Sale' which you can grab for just 1L at the Inworld Store until the end of June.  This outfit screams fun!  The clarity of the image on the tee is super sharp and a good conversation starter when you are wandering the SL world.  The tee and pants can be worn separately but really do work perfectly as an outfit.  Do not miss it! 

#30 Sunshine On My Mind at Kona Beach

 

Hi Lovelies 😊  Following on from a beautiful evening at Bachata Magica, a restful beach day was needed and with 'Sunshine on my Mind' I headed to a true staple in Second Life, Kona Beach.  In a virtual world that is always evolving, I love that places like Kona still exist and are still thriving!  There is a bit of something for everyone here.  For me personally, I love to sit and listen to the waves and watch people surfing.  There is horse riding, jet skis, fishing and plenty of ways to interact and make new friends.  Equally there are some beautiful more secluded spots for a romantic date or just to unwind together (or alone as you wish!).  Don't miss a turtle ride through the underwater world!

What I Am Wearing:

Continuing on my focus on Menswear in the Cheeky Monkey Hunt 'All Male Summer Hunt' this week, today I am wearing this bold statement tee 'Sunshine On My Mind' from Cloud Nine.  Loving the vibe of this tee!  It is also available for women in the All The Colors 4 hunt incase you fancy matching with your love.  You can grab these for 1L each!! and wear them all summer long.  I am wearing mine on Belleza Jake, but they also will fit Signature Gianni, Legacy and Aesthetic.

#29 Summer Nights at Bachata Magica

Hi Lovelies 😊  With Summer so close now, I definitely wanted a Resort vibe tonight, and found that at Bachata Magica.  As I landed on the pier, there was a little jump scare moment from the gigantic shark head that filled my screen!  But as you wander into the very colorful, vibrant square it just feels warm and inviting.  There is a really beautiful beach club in the heart of it all and joining the group, I can see there are several DJ sets each week.  This is definitely a place to come, grab a drink and sway the night away!

What I Am Wearing:

Cheeky Monkey currently has their 'All Male Summer' Hunt on until the end of June and I just had to show you this quality 'Surfboards on Parade' Denim Waistcoat, which I am wearing here on Belleza Jake (also for Signature & Slink) which I urge you to run and grab for just 1L over at The Sissy Bar.  The Waistcoat works so well with Fashionatic's Carter Ripped Shorts in Black for a double denim look.

#28 Star Lake Resort & Sector 51

 

Hi Lovelies 😊  So it definitely has been a while (again!).  Today is the first day I have wanted to be back on my Dinkie since the RL version I named after him, my beautiful boy Tootsie passed away in April at nearly 20 years old.  It feels a bit surreal to be Inworld and not have him sat next to me in the real world watching over what I am doing.  I miss him very much.

Today I am over at Star Lake Resort & Sector 51 which is very futuristic, set in the year 2077.  As cliche as it sounds, to me at least, very 'Bladerunner' vibes... and I LOVE that!  This is one of those places where you are at awe with how much detail it has taken to bring this space to life.  There is also a games room here, bowling and even a MechDonalds!  I took a slow wander, just taking it all in before hoping in a flying taxi to let it zoom me around the city.  I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and hope you will too.

What I Am Wearing:
